“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5 (NKJV)
Living Led by Jesus is not always easy. We do not know what tomorrow holds, and there are times when trials, temptations, and difficult decisions leave us wondering which way to turn.
In those moments, God does not expect us to figure everything out on our own. Instead, He invites us to come to Him and ask for wisdom.
James reminds us that trials have a purpose.
As we learn to trust God through difficulties, patience grows in our hearts and matures our faith. Rather than resisting every hardship, we can choose to view trials through the lens of God’s greater work in our lives. He is shaping us, strengthening us, and teaching us to depend on Him.
When confusion comes, ask God for wisdom in faith. He is a generous Father who delights in guiding His children. As you seek Him, endure temptation, and continue walking in obedience, you will discover the blessing of a life led by His wisdom rather than your own understanding.
Today’s Truth:
Count trials a joy, for they produce patience.
Patience helps us mature spiritually.
Ask God for wisdom in faith.
Endure temptation and receive God’s blessing.
Reflection:
What situation in your life right now requires God’s wisdom? Take a few moments to ask Him for guidance and trust Him to lead your next step.
