Focus Verse: John 10:11 - “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He leads with love, protects with care, and calls His sheep by name. Unlike the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy, Jesus came to give life—abundant life.
Sheep need a shepherd. They are not meant to wander, strive, or figure everything out alone. In the same way, we are not meant to lead ourselves apart from Jesus. Living led begins with surrendering our own way and learning to recognize His voice.
Jesus knows His sheep, and His sheep follow Him. The more time we spend with Him in His Word, the more familiar His voice becomes. We begin to notice His gentle leading in everyday choices, quiet nudges, and moments of conviction.
Today, ask yourself: Am I listening for the voice of my Good Shepherd, or am I trying to lead myself?
Journaling Prompt:
Where do I need to surrender control and let Jesus shepherd my heart today?
